In our type of work we come across many regulars. the lawns the sprinklers and the boarders. We often see home owners who have railroad ties as boarders planters and walkways and cant help but cringe. These woods have been soaked in toxic materials to protect from rotting and being eaten but at what point do these people realize that there walkway or boarder they use as a path is poisonous and being absorbed unto there bare feet along with inside there lawn or pets. I bring this up due to the fat that many people either love or hate them but do not know how to properly dispose of them. Normal dumps will not accept this or pressure treated waste.
